hey all
well i have come back to well for yet another question....
is it even possible to AB on clear glass (im thinking yes) and what medium would you use????
would they be wash safe???
i think i need to be a high pressure 40-50 psi or should it be lower
i have approximentaly 100 to do for a wedding maybe a plain couple outline with names and date
if its not possible i will just go with a glass marker
all and any help on this topic would be great
thanks and god bless

This is an interesting question because I have been doing a little research on it myself. I have a couple of windows that I have to paint for a customer. I read somewhere that Oneshot works really well on glass, but I am not sure how well it (or any other paint) will hold up to being washed. I hope someone else can help you out a little more, it will be interesting to see what others have to say.
Good Luck!

Yep One shot sign enamel will be your best bet. Should hold up about the best out of anything your going to find, and it will stick to anything you put it on so watch out.:wink2:

Don't forget a respirator!
This is ALL 1-shot on a storefront !!!
Combination "hair" brush and airbrush !!!
Airbrush needs to be applied while paint
is still fresh to avoid dry spots tho !!!
This was a children's shop,,, we did mural
work on interior as well,,, made a big
walk-in storybook for the younguns:partyalone:
1-shot is very washable as these windows
have a weekly pro wash,, holding fine !!!

Yep it will flow better than any paint you can put through your brush, if you thin it correct. It will stay wet for a bit though so don't get your hands in there till it dries.:wink2: Oh and no problem on the help, if you need any more just give me a pm. Did you read my post about the adaptor for your Revolution? http://www.airbrushtech.info/AIRBRUSH/forum/showthread.php?t=1000&page=2

hey clinton
wow thanks for generous offer but if its only an 8$ adaptor no worries i can swing it..lol (one less six pack though:( ) i never looked at it that way just change the fitting doh! yes i do have a nylon braided hose (black /blue) i shall investigate that ...im hoping when i hit the store for some paints maybe friday i can put this package together....
BTW all its MY wedding in doing the glasses for(not the first one though ...hoping the last) and the carter is stopping by today for a possible job some wall mural thing i dont know but he has already givin us a hell of a deal on the food...wait till he gets my BILL!...lol
 all
Another thought here,,,
the enamel needs a good coat to hold,,,
airbrush,, at best,, is kinda thin,, unless
you double coat,, so,,,
you may do well to lay a coat of clear
if you're just using an airbrush totally !!!
If you lay a coat of paint with a brush
and apply airbrush wet on wet,, no prob
but airbrush alone,,, clear over it with
a varnish or other clearing agent !!!

(another window,, comb air/hair brush)
