Had 2 hours to work on this today, it's for the twin that I did the Charlie Chaplin for. It's Linda Carter back in the day, hard to find a good pic of her without the Wonder Woman outfit on. Let me know what you think, should be done in another 2 hours I hope.

was that an extra long lunch break.....
love the color you did this in, gives it a vintage feel, was starring at it for a while and felt it was missing something, she needs a bit of sparkle in her eyes, other than that it's a wonderful piece

Damn wish I couldnt, 2 hours and it looks like that, whats takin you so long:wink2:

I love seeing your wip's. but you need to do photo's every 15 mins which equates to every 2 hours of me working LOL.

Its great work, looks like her already and when you ad the highlights in the eyes I think it will be quite haunting.
Excelent choice of picture.

Michael

PS would appreciate comments on my wip. Good or bad its all learning.

Thanks for the comments Frog, I would do WIP photos like you ask but it seems as though most don't actually look/learn for them anyway. I've post quit a few on various boards but it's just not worth it if people don't actually take anything form it, so I stopped doing that.

Anyway here it is all finished, kind of bugs me cause it only took me 45 min more. Maybe i'm missing something, you guys deside, it's still on the board if I missed something. Hairs not quit right I know but I suck at hair so ther's not much I can do. Total time 2hrs 45min, Goldens with Revolution BR. (cheapest iwata made:wink2: ) If anyone has problems seeing this here's a link.

Pic's came up this time, the eyes will keep people form looking at the hair. ( don't see anything wrong there either.

I'd be happy if I could do that in a month.

Thanks for posting,

Clem

Clinton-
you have captured her likeness almost exactly. I used to be in love with Linda Carter, aka wonder Boobs... er, Wonder Woman. I can't see anything wrong with her hair. You could put in some hair lights, but you run the risk of diluting the magnetic effect of those eye lights that draw the viewer into the picture. -IMO

I realy like it. But I think it would benifit from darkening the hair around her face. This would frame the face nicer and draw the eye into the face.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the comments guys. Took it off the board first thing this morning and heatset it and wrapped it up, it's going to the owner in about 1/2 hour. So I didn't change anything but i'll keep the crtique in mind for the next one.:)

They did love it, called me a master at portraits. :) Not sure I agree but i'll take it, the guys own 9 Art stores so they can't be totaly in the dark.:wink2: If I was to do this for someone it would be around $75 plus the shirt, not sure how that would sell but I wouldn't do it for less. I try and talk most people into doing something of this nature (time+$$ right) on the back of a jacket, something that's worth ore than the art.:wink2:
