I,m a Brit too. I have moved around a lot.
I got offered a job by a rich guy that had bought some of my artwork (hairybrush), He wamted me to manage the refurbishing of ONE of his villas in Spain, to good an offer to refuse.
We got his villa sorted and revalued it, went from a 400,000 property to 1.2 million, needless to say he was pleased.
Now we are setting up a development company for him, got the land, nearly got the planning sorted, sales material is nearly ready, web site nearly finished http://www.costablancasetfair.com/ (http://www.costablancasetfair.com)
Hoping to breakground around March.
Its not realy what I want to be doing but its a means to an end.

I was born in the UK, although many wouldn't call me british anymore. I've been in the states longer than I have anywhere.
Sounds like you've got one hell of a deal going. I'm deeply envious.
Where in Spain?
A place called jalon, its a small village in a wine producing valley, verry perty.
We are about 20 mins from the coast and about the same distance to all the offices we have to work with.
How long you been in the states? My wife grew up in New york but left the states and went back to Greece when she was 18 (she is Greek)
I used to visit the States a lot (work) mainly Utah and San Jose I was a puter geek till a bad accident 6 years ago took me out of the work enviroment for 2 years.
Thats when I turned to Art been my sanity ever since.

I've been here about 40 years. Got here when I was only 6...Dad's Welsh, Mum's English. Both are here in the states, just not mine.
I wanted to make the switch to art full time, painting whatever comes up, murals, automotive, you name it... have been in the auto industry designing (drafting) for 27 years...seems fate made a career choice for me lately...and I'm a little wobbly about it.
Nice to have you here, you do lovely work...
hahaha Frog..
Us guys get a Boob infatuation from the day we are born.
Probably the only thing that sticks with us for a lifetime.
