Here is one i've just finished for a couple married for 50yrs, they were married on Australia day, that is why the Aussie flag is in the 50. It is their home in the centre (an old Queenslander style home). I used a VL and Standox basecolours and cleared with Standox 2k. This is my third attempt at portraits, slightly better than the first two...lol
I await your comments with baited breath, or was that bad breath, i'm not sure.

I love this saw Mike. I think you did an great job on it...as I already told you. I think you did really well on the portraits, which isn't an easy task to begin with but you did it using that big old fire hose of an airbrush.:wink2: (Sorry, had to give ya a little elbow in the ribs to add to the VL verses Iwata contraversy.. I love my Iwata!) And considering this is only your third attempt at portraits I say you did a fine job indeed! I bet they were a very happy couple to receive such a gift.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement guys ('n' gals...lol). If I can dig out the pictures I'll show you my first couple of portraits, and I really have to thank Lilred for encouraging me to do this, she's a real sweetheart and very good friend...
And thanks for showing me the site Ambo...the beers are getting colder mate.
