Second attempt at an eye with Luc,,,im still not done....need to get more confidence before i do the eyebrows and eyelashes

Josie, you are doing great. The more you work at it the less you will need Luc or anyone else to point out areas to work on. It will just become second nature to you. I too have trouble with the details because I have a tendency to paint what I THINK I see and not what is actually there. I have to do tricks like turning the painting upside down to force myself to actually SEE what I am missing.
Chin up lady, you are doing fantastic! Can't wait to see more!

I forgot to mention this last night...
For practice, without rendering directly onto your artwork...
Get TRI-Acetate, it will allow you to paint directly onto the surface of the acetate, while seeing clearly through. Just remember to mask where the acetate doesn't cover...as we all know...where paint can go...paint will go.
