I have a HP-CS airbrush now. I am getting a little better with detail. I am interested in getting a good airbrush with a smaller tip. I am looking to do more detail. What do you recommend? thanks

Look I got the same kinda question but I know kinda what I want and my b-day is the 12th and I need to make a speedy decision hp-b hi-line iwata or infinity 2 in 1. Right now leaning towards the infinity!

What is the best bang for the buck? Would like to keep it under 300 if i could. But if it costs more and is worth it, then i guess i will have to spend more.

So many good AB's out there it's more of a personal thing than, "this will do what you want".......Never used an HP-CS so know clue what it can do..But I bet it'd surprise ya:D.........My point in that thread norm posted...You can blow $600 on a top O da line AB..It'll still spit and sputter like an $80 one some days.

I like the brush i have. From some of the articles i have been reading, alot of people have a detail brush as well. They claim that detail is easier with a brush that has a smaller tip. My paint mixing is getting better and my lines getting thinner, just thought that it would be easier to detail with a smaller tipped brush.

Keep away from the $30 ones (or £15 in England) they really are only disposable types! Personally I'd go for the Infinity. However, my Grafo will do exactly the same (Harder & Steenbeck, too!) plus, its a few $$ cheaper.

I used to have the HP-CS and I loved it it will pull some tight lines then I got the hp-ch hi-line love it does lots of finer detail I think I'm going to buy the infinity because of it's expandability with it's excessories.

Best thing I like about the Infinity is the ease of doing things with it...Change nozzles and stuff with no tools..No chance of snapping that damn little nozzle like you can with Iwatas..LOL...The trigger being a one piece design is cake to pop in and out if yer tearing the whole thing down.

The 2 in 1 is nice for the 2 size combos...Go from heavy paints to thin stuff in a quick change of a few parts...has a big and small cup too.

i'm getting the new Badger Renegade Velocity
under $100 US it has a .21mm needle/nozzle and 1/3 oz cup
I have a Mike Learn Mojo but hey I want more then one detail airbrush so if I go with the Velocity I can order 3
I heard they have nice detail as fine as a Micron without the Iwata price

yeah I guess it comes to personal prefference I have a nice collection started of AB's I have that badger anthem 155 and that really turned me away from badger line but hey I might try a renegade for there price and what I keep hearing about them. I tell ya what I like my richpen apollo 112b but I get real bad tip dry with it no matter what I try and get sick of having to pull out the iwata to fix the mess it made on real fine detail. And me I like to keep a couple guns loaded at the same time. Usually my black and white. It is besides that a nice spraying brush but I think I might have to part with her because it doesn't serve it's purpose for me. And I might just as well sell it cause other wise I pull it out and screw up a piece with it cause an hour more of work.

P.S. could be just me but I spray automotives mostly and HOK. I do remember com art running good through it so maybe I just need to keep it for canvas or illustration only.
