Just pucker up,, brush your hair,, an jump in !!!
You've come leaps n bounds in your practice !!!
The worst that can happen is that you get
some more practice in !!!

Just remember one thing...it's a quote from one of my favourite instructors...
"short of setting your piece on fire....we can fix it" ~ Michael Cacy
It helped a little to let go of the 'fear' of failure....and it's funny, giving help to another student, I'm always fearless...but stiff with my own work...silly.
Go for it...you're doing great.
Looks good Josie, like the others You are moving right along. Not long and you will be doing the complete portrait.

Josie, I LOVE your nose! (is it "your" nose?) Your work is getting very smooth, subtle, all the right nuances of good portraiture. Well done!

BRAVO Josie!:clapping: Your ability has advanced so much in such a short period of time. I'm going to be waiting in anticipation to see what you are able to accomplish in the next year. Great work!

wanna bet?
If your fear of control is limiting you...don't feel shy about doing a little hand made freehand stencils...acetate is my choice, for the most part.... cut a load of fine curved dagger shapes, place where needed, and voila ...eyelashes...no sense fretting over control if it's not there yet....you'll get there in time...especially with Luc.
Read my signature quote, I really mean it....lol.

Josie, I was thinking since there was very little erasing involced on this exercice, you could try doing it again with the Createx paint while over reducing it by 200%. This way you will not loose the momentum from what you have lurned in the past courses.

Thanks AirArt and thanks for the tip
Excellent again. If you are buying/have bought Com Art, I found that you have to strain it first, especially the white. Flows nicely though.

I don't use ComArt white...usually...I use Badger white. They have one of the most concentrated white's in the biz.
