Hi I am going to paint a Mustang Mach 1 later this fall so did a test run... just to see where I would end up... I know my stuff is simple and dont mind the ears they have no work at all... just pot em in there, somewhere...

I think the final piece will have a horse cranium instead, Im not sure yet !?! I figured I had to know what a horse kinda looks like before twisting it...

Yes Norn the final tap will have a horses cranium standing on two legs within the inferno... and the colors will be a little bit lighter... and the lightest part will be spanish gold or lime HOK...

I shall study a few fire freaks here and paint something in between, Mob vatos... to name a few...

By the way Norm "Mustasch, bring me everyone" Is super.... you have to listen to that song... abit slow but heavy and a bit wiered lyrics.

what would I change?
hmm..
I am not fond of 'wildly different ears or nostrils..
I like the left ear, 'just because', but the right ear has a better flame-might tweak a bit more next time with similar 'overall shapes' of the flames for both ears..
same with nostrils.. the left again LOOKS better...but, would that length do OK covering on the horses body? perhaps shorten it half way back? and do a semi similar for both sides.
horse head shape is great.. eyes? are perfect, but..what could you do to make em 'meaner'? mor focused forward and maybe timy pinpoints of the centers?

hair on neck and mane-the flames are just about as good as they can get IMO..
clear coat it and hang it on the wall for a demo piece..

I gave it away allready to a local bikers shop.

If some one has some tip to do agressive flames and slip some ref pics I would be glad.

Not sure how I Missed this one. But I Absolutly Love it as it is Tomas , Dont recon it matters much now since You Allready gave it away. As Far as Agressive Flames, Lots of Reference pics in Design Sharing I Think. If Not Google Ghostrider pics from the Movie. Some of the Best I,ve seen for Refs. Best of luck on The hood .
