manage attatchments problem

Very often after I typed a whole story & click the 'manage attatchments' button, the screen freezes... so I have to push ctrl-alt-delete & in order to close internet, couse nothing works anymore... Just now that happened 3 times in a row. My fingers hurt from typing hehehttp://www.airbrushtech.info/AIRBRUSH/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif

Are there more people who this has happended too?

Sorry Bud, never happened once in my whole time here.....You mentioned once you always use that "go advanced", maybe that's got something to do with it..I dunno...Good luck:D

Only thing I can think of that might be happening is that the Manage Attachment pop-up window may be popping up behind the main window. It has the focus, but isn't visible, so it would appear that the main screen has frozen. What browser are you using?

If it happens to you again Try holding down the Alt key and then hit Tab. Don't release the Alt key. That will pop up a list of your running programs. See if there's another instance of your browser in the list. If so, just repeatedly hit the Tab key until you get to the other browser instance, and release the Alt key. That will bring that instance to the foreground.

Nah, the attatchment window doesn't pop up @ all. I use normal internet exporer.

I'll try the Alt&Tab trick next time, thx.

Upload your attachments first and then do all your typing.....

On very long stories, I also tend to copy those off to clipboard or word program to save my editing sequence, but I am a slow typre that makes spelling mistakes...

I do the highlight copy trick on long ones....just in case something happens, I can paste it back in real quick..LOL

Yip found I have to do that when I am away, or else it throws me out, if it is anymore than, looks good lol.......

It only happens once a week or so. But WHEN it happens...3 times in a row #$%#@$%@#$ LOL
