Hi there, I am new to this forum and trying to do some graphics with an airbrush. I live in the Netherlands and have fun playing around with rc controlled powerboats. Planning to take some classes soon and hope to improve my basic airbrush skills. Have been browsing this forum for a long time, picking up tips & tricks along the way. I use a Iwata Eclipse and a small hand-gun for larger surfaces.
Here is a boat of mine (45 inches in length);
The picture does not show the shot-up Rebel flag which is on the deck.

and one i did for a boating buddy of mine;

Dutch is the hardest european language to learn, couse for every meaning there is 1 word. In the US some words have 20 meanings...NOT here hehe.
Our dictionary is like 1 foot thick made of bible paper, LOTT of pages hehe

that thing out the back is called a tuned pipe you slide it back anf forth till you get it to really scream 45 inches at least 60 mph probably alot faster
it also works linda like a muffler you see them on alot of 2 stroke motors

Thank you for the positive responce. Nice to have your work appreciated.
The AC Models boat runs a good positive 60mph and the rigger (orange-blue) runs into the 70's. The engines are 26 cc, run on petrol-oil mix and produce between 5-7,5hp. Spinning props at 17-19.000 rpm. Indeed the thing sticking out the back is a tuned pipe. We need those to reach the performance we want.
Still struggeling with good fades. I think even more hard to do than striping etc. I suffer from overspray on the white area. Is there a good trick for that? Have searched the forum, not yet found what i need though.
