me pesonally I prefer a 1.3 needle for clear
Depends..A high solids clear will need a bigger needle to flow out nice..or need thinning a bit with the smaller needle....I'd pick yer clear of choice and try the different sizes to see which handles it the best.

the stuff matrix reccomends is comes in 7 litre kit thats almost 2 gallons for $155 thats a good price he said 1.4 is what they reccomend a 1.3 works just as well ill get the 1.4 ?? RT
My Binks is a 1.4....Sprays like a champ..But as I mentioned most clears are different..I use Omni a lot they have different kinds tho, "high solids", "quick clear", and a few others....Some spray nice, the high solids needs thinning a bit....You'll have to experiment a lil probably.

thanks ill get the 1.4 they said i change the size with a new nozzle and needle right not I'm useing kustom shop K2 an i put in the same amount of reducer as the hardener and it shoots really well
primo from primo customs said try a bigger tail hose i went from a 1/4 hose to a 3/8 hose and it shot alot smoother he said a 1/2 in it will even shoot better
ill get a 1/2 from harbour fright this weekend and try it

Your fittings make a diff too...The old school male/female quick connects are limiting...They make hi flow fittings that are less restricting...Some Hvlps even call for the hi flow fittings....I never knew that when I 1st started...had all sorts of the old fittings laying around..Figured anything would work..lol
