I have never had any problems with them.. It really depends on reducer and airpressure. I spray at 38 psi and around 1 part paint to 2 parts reducer..

I've used Bob's paint for many projects and have had very good results with it. The airbrush ready bottles are handy. All you need to do is add reducer and go to town. There are a ton of colors too. I must have around 150 including the striping colors.

Good luck, Steve.

Hey steve, when I spray it I make sure I have the shiniest smoothest black surface possible and make sure it has cured for about a week, I personally spray it between 20 to 30 psi and completely shut the fluid nozzle, then open it about a full turn or two, you should barely be able to see it coming out of the gun. Try to keep th amount of coats down to 5 or six, going much over that will cause the chrome to dull quite a bit when you put your clear over. you want to wait 24 to 48 hours to topcoat over the chrome unless you can bake it. Personally I dont think it ends up looking like 100% chrome, however if you put a candee over the top, its eye popping, that would turn some heads if you did it on one of you boats with a bright candee over it, let me know how it works out and if ya got anymore questions just let me know. One more thing I forgot to mention steven, when you go to clear coat the chrome, use the highest solids, fastest drying clear that you have or can get, this will give you less solvents to attack the chrome effect as well as less time. Dan
