has anyone tried TAT INTERNATIONAL's Power Palette?

I see people using a different AB for each colour, this would be much easier for doing Tats.

Not really,it has its own problems and if it goes down your outta business, that's one reason we old timers use multiple airbrushes, reliability and its also faster.

Just my opinion.... Id stay away from such contraptions! haahaahaaa That thing looks like a cheap knock off the spectrum 2000, which on the surface is an awesome idea, they just DONT work in the real world. At least not well, I spent the summer shoot'n shirts but helped out with managing the Temp Tats and the kids had a hard enough time keep'n 4-6 airbrush's working, much less dealing something that has many parts to it. :D Keep it simple, gun for every color or 1 for Black, then one for Cool colors and one for warm colors. Or whatever floats your boat. :D

I have used a pp for four years and have not had a problem with it. It's not for shirts or auto work. It was made for temp tats. The specturm is junk and costly to replace parts. The only thing on the palette that would need to be replaced from time to time is the ink line. And its under 20.00. As far as workers goes it they don't know how to clean a airbrush or clear a line of a clog then they shouldn't be left alone. Multi brush setups can have just as many problems as the pp. Most are operator error not the system itself. People dismissed the automoblile when they first came out and thought horses would be around forever. Even airbrushes today have changed a lot since the day they were first used. As the airbrush industry moves into the future so will the equipment we use.

I seen somebody trying to use one in Minnesota. I'm thanksful that they had one. They couldn't get anything to work on it and they sent all their work my direction. I had 18 airbrushes set up and nothin slowed me down.

since it first came out and currently have 6 of them. I have never had a problem with one not working. The only problems I have is with the airbrushes and that is why each FatMax unit has 4 guns in it. If there is a problem we change guns and keeps rocking.

I agree 100%!!

I tried the older version when i first started, i believe it was called spectrum 2000. It was more trouble than it was worth, I will never regret the day i decided to go with 8 airbrushes!

I found the dial kept falling out, you had to spray the last used color all the way through and it was just an all around pain tin the butt!

However having said that ... There are a lot of users who like it. So you really cannot tell.

But here is the thing you can never go wrong with multiple airbrushes. They will always just be airbrushes! It is much easier to just pick up the next color.
