Ok guys, question: Have any of you used both of these guns, and if so, how do they compare? I own the Sata and love it, but am looking at the Iwata wondering if it's as good as it looks to be. I'm looking for the ultimate in glassy clear when reduced a LOT. I paint competition RC planes where weight is critical, so just laying down coat after coat and sanding and polishing it to death just isn't an option. I need one thin coat that lays down slick and doesn't weigh a ton.

I have reached sort of a terminal lightness with the Sata, where anything else and it just splatters or runs. hard to properly describe....so if the Iwata atomizes any better, it's probably a better option, because one ounce can make a world of difference in what I do.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Steve!

I'll give it a go and report back the differences I find in my application. I need thin, light glass....LOL The minijet has been the best I have run across so far, but if the LPH80 is anything like my Iwata airbrushes, I am stoked!
