newbie ghost flamer

i read a post about adding dry pearl to you base color i have hot rod red quad already cleared dont care for midcoat much anymore what would be a good dry pearl color to add the the hotrod red for the ghost flames!! ill add to the dry pearl to the midcoat

i have silver white . red pearl .rossette red. and a darker kinda dark silver :worship:

Hmmm guessing it's all the look you want...I'd think the silvers wouldn't take hardly any to get em to show...While the reds, you might have to lay a bit more on...Seems the red would be more ghostly tho cuz they'll blend with the base more...Silvers will always be contrasting...Still look cool though, just depends on what yer feelin:D

I,ve Allways been a fan of gold on red Rt . Very thin though . But of coarse I,d say that Cuz You dont have any. hehe. I,ve also Played with mixing the powders to Create My own Blend. Just not a good idea to mix Brands IMO . The Silvers to Me seemed to add More of a Metallic look to it Then Pearl. Best of luck However You decide to go.

I mixed candy red AA with Etac-fx 500 red tonight hehe... BAD IDEA!! lol

yup im the question whore ill try the silver first then the red pearl ill go to coast and get some gold and see what comes up

as far as the guestions i have learned so much in such a short time and i owe it to you guys because you have always been straight shooter
and not arrogant or uppity up with your knowedge and are willing to share it i have people calling just by word of mouth wanting painting done

my work is fairly simple but they all like what they see and there money is good

and im doing stuff i never thought i would be able to do and it looks really good and thanks to yall again cheers mates
