Hello everyone... new pin-up! I also included some step by steps. It was painted on 11"x14" bristol board. I used Com-art paint, FW acrylic inks and coloured pencils.

I agree very very nice, the fabric is awsome as are the skin tones. You post this stuff up any time you like, it's good reference.:) ;)

I like the whole piece is coming together.
Can't wait to see it develop more.
Thanks for sharing!

I think that mixed media really plays out well, especially when working with pinups.

It's already done dude. I've moved on to a new piece for developing!:D
When I first started out, I only used AB. Now I use anything that works!
Thanks,
Zack

Very nice work, skin tones are excellent. How do you find painting figures at that angle/pose, tricky? Easy? So So? Thanks! Sometimes it's a little tricky. Actually I messed up on the first attempt at this painting.:frustrated: I had to redo the whole painting over again! What a pain!!:banghead: So yes, it can be tricky.

Excellent. What kind of colored pencils are you using? Berol? Nice to see the mix of media.

Thanks prs! I use Sanford Col-erase colored pencils, because I can paint over them and erase them. I also use Prismacolor (the pencil formerly known as Berol) "Verithin" colored pencils, they have a harder lead and less wax. I really don't care to use Prismacolor Premier Pencils to much wax, and you can't paint over them. This is a photo of some of my colored pencils.

Good to know. I have a ton of Prismacolors. I might have tried them and been sorry. Thanks for the tip.

For a wax free pencil...don't forget Aquarelle's or other watercolour pencils....they dissolve with water...and are great for detail work/mixed media...I've also used them doing touch up on automotive work....they don't interfere or interact with Urethane clears.

Oh, yeah! Thanks for reminding me colourshift about the WC pencils:) When using colored pencils or watercolor pencils, remember to use them in moderation and don't over use them. Here's my Derwent watercolour pencils.

Cretacolor pencils are amazing, too!
Pure watercolor, NO filler.
