This isn't worthy of the general topic area Lol

I was looking through loads of old topics and came across one by AirDave and he inspired me to have a bash at the picture of the Lancaster bombers, that my late father in law flew during the war.

This was supposed to be my first and secret attempt at anything but slash's and dots, I go to sleep at night thinking about dots and slash's lol
Criticize all you like about the painting I know its rubbish Lol Things can only get better.

I learned a lot tonight doing this picture, so I would like to thank Dave for posting it with his hints and tips.
I learned very little by doing just stencils as you see on the paper.

The boss (wife) crept up on me and took this photo and I was gob smacked at how bald & grey I was, its not very often you see a picture of the back of your own head, some members have more hair on there faces than I have on my head lol.
This the only reason I'm posting it and not for the picture Lol

hahaha..Been shavin my head since I was a teenager..So I know the cold factor..hahaha!..Also the sunburnt one..Ouch!!!

I never got to silly with the lines and dots....I practiced em when I practiced everything else...Never really spent a whole session doing them though....I'd never make it..hahaha!

I'll look for more pictures to do now, I found I learned a lot more by doing the picture, I was supprised at how much there is to learn but I enjoyed it a lot, I only stopped to watch a program on TV so roll on tomorrow when I can paint my nails and fingers again Lol

Nice practice piece Jeff, yip is more rewarding, as you can see what it is is half the battle lol........the rest will come in time, thats what I tell myself at least ha ha ha.....looks as though you are heading in the right direction.
