Where to buy paint?

I am new to airbrushing and at the practice stage. What paint is best for practicng with? Also, where is a good place to purchase paint from? Thanks

I started out using regular createx paints. They're basically for tshirts, but all my first art is on painted wood. If you can learn how to spray createx, you can pretty much learn to spray any paints. I buy all my paints from www.coastairbrush.com . As far as buying reg createx, I get mine from Michael's. MP

For Createx, I go to Misterart.com. U usually buy the largest quantities and they beat the prices of buying locally by a lot.

Thanks for the link. I thought Coast was the cheapest for Createx bit Mister Art looks to be much cheaper. I'm not sure about shipping though.

since you are a neighbor, look at dixieart.com down in Louisiana

part 2 is what can you get LOCALLY.. I didnt say cheaply, but if you got a Michaels, then 'for emergency' you can go there for a bottle of Createx if you run out, while awaiting a mail order ship thats overall cheaper.

If you got other brands available, then you might plan accordingly

I got a store here that sells HOK, BUT it starts at $26 for 2 oz and up..
far cheaper to mail order everything
