i've had a smallish scope for a while, but i'm just getting in to taking a few pictures through it. thought i'd share them :)

thanks :) i think planets and nebular would be interesting to have a go airbrushing.
i have a mount that attaches round the telescope lens which has a standard camera screw fitting on it. it's just a fairly basic point and shoot 5 megapixel digi cam. i set it to manual. up the ISO to 800 for anything other than the moon..
for the nebular i set the exposure time to the max which is 15 seconds. then i put the timer on. so there is 10 seconds after i've pressed the button before it takes a shot, that way hopefully all the vibrations will have gone and i'll get a decent pic.
the telescope mount is motorised so it tracks what ever i'm looking at, allowing me to take long exposure shots, but it's not great. the scope was only cheap
