Hi artists, just getting things set up for this weekend. Thanks to all who have graced us with their work, from newbie practice to exquisite final artworks, it all is very good for us to see, and to share. While we wrap up on Sunday, I'm gonna begin leaving the doors open earlier in the week to allow folks who are travelling or busy on the weekend to post something. Happy to see earlier works we haven't seen, sketches or workups for future work, fabrication pics, sculpture, any works of art or kustom fabrication you might be working on. Thanks again for making this the best forum on the net!

Hey Dog good to have you back buddy. With all this friggin work , I should be able to post some things this weekend, since i'm not much into just punching things out , it's taking a little longer. Here is a vest that I had my student work on while he was here , figured an Olivia was a good piece to practice skin tones and such.2253

Hi Folks
Here are mine for this week. A seat cowl from a Triumph Speed Triple motorcycle with flag, side panels from a CCM trail bike with... wait for it... flags and the Ghost Rider helmets I'm currently on with.
Now it's time to finish and get ready for taking my other half out this evening.
Take care everyone - Grant

This piece isn't new but it hasn't been seen by anyone but the students at the getaway last year. It was my demo piece for the portrait class in Las Vegas.

Grr.
This is a piece I did in airbrush, almost completely...with the exception of the black being gesso.

Last summer, I got talked into doing "CroakerFest" in Oriental, NC...managed to bang out a few pieces - it was practice for 3D work, as I'm used to flat surfaces.
The clouds are done in the same way I did in the demo in another thread...all using AutoAir, and cleared using Krylon (this was before I met Moe and now have all my clears done with a urethane).
I found the butterfly references photo's online (other than a sulphur or a Monarch....when do you see these beauties? - well...most of us except xtremecolor) It was fun to do!

Lynne, thanks for the great contributions. I LOVE the bottles painting, very cool work! That mailbox is awesome, lots of work in it, very nice.
I have only done one mailbox, kinda old school hotrod style. Already posted elsewhere, but I'll add it here I guess.

Tha downside here,,,
if you pay attention to what you're doin,,,
there's no time to play,,, and after it's
done,,, you don't want to mess it up:partyalone:

There's a body painter on the forum...what's her name? Grr, CRS. She did a full body painting of some hot lookin guy (michael, i think it was called) ...and until the gallery is up * sniff * that's all I'm gonna get. Sigh....

Better a bandana than a loincloth, babe....
Since there's a lot of shirts and jackets, here's a self-promo jacket I did a while back. Like most everybody else, I've got a bunch of things in the works which means next Sunday'll make up for this one. Anyway, back to my airplane graphics! Later yall.
