I,m posting this because I know a few of you will like it.
I did it 7 years ago when I was confined in a wheelchair for 9 months didnt know if I would walk again unaided. You can imagine I was not in the best of spirits.
Its soapstone took me a 8 days to carve (I was obsessed with finishing it) and is displayed in my house as a reminder of my black days, it may seem strange but it cheers me up everytime I look at it.
I walk fine now:) just a slight limp when I,m tired.

Looks very nice! It kinda looks like one of those Aztec skulls.

The canvas got used for something else....oops.
Actualy I needed to relax so I got my hairybrush out and just went with the flow. Sort of free association. I wore out 2 bristle brushes on it scrubing back through colours. About 7 layers, The photo does not show it well.
But I like it and thats all that matters.
