I probably know the answer to this, but perhaps there is a solution. I am spraying a t-shirt for my friend Buck, an old school hot rod builder who recently had a stroke. The shirt is a gray T, and while setting up to spray a black drop shadow on some lettering, I squirted a squiggly black line instead. (Damn arthritis, and old shaky tired dog!). The shirt is quite a ways along and I hate to start over.
What is the best path of repair if any? It has to go, can't be disguised unless I put a color background behind all the lettering, which wouldn't look too good I think. Should I cure it, paint white, then try to match the gray background, or ????
Any suggestions are appreciated.

The letters were cut on my plotter. I blew the in white, then covered them with the cut pieces to protect them while I worked on the hot rod. I will come back in and paint them a chrome effect. With black in my brush, I was building up the darks on the hot rod. I just couldn't resist practicing the strokes for the drop shadows, and poof, my old finger just locked up and out it came, Yikes, embarrassing mess. Think I can save it?

hey blind dog just my 2 cents.. what i would do is make the back drop shadow just darker than originally intended...keep the letters covered and then take the stencils you made for the lettering and just place it a little to the left and lowere a little and just fill it in darker .. that will give it a look like there is another set of letters behind it..... crisp shadow....hope this helps and by the way the car looks pretty sweet....

That's what I was thinking. Larger, darker drop shadows. Denise, sorry, I don't understand part of what you are saying. The lettering is white, and will be painted with blue and sienna to make a chrome effect. I covered them to keep em nice & brite till I was ready to color them.
Are you saying spray over them with a color? Then re-shadow?
What isn't defined as they are? LOL, sorry, not following (I get like that sometimes)
I DO FULLY understand what you're saying about speed. I was brainfarting for sure, have done many drop shadows well, but the Createx thing scares the hell out of me for some reason.
Thanks for the help, I was also thinking of using a drop shadow mask, but the edge is hard and I didn't want that, but, it will look better than what I have, that's for sure!

Blinddog, I gots a great idea!!! I would give it a black stippling effect for the back ground for the granite look & make the squiggly lines more pronounced to ad that weathered cracked wall look... What ya think? Huh Huh! -HotAir-
