i've got a little screen on my bike, it's not for looking through so i want to spray a small logo/symbol on it.
how would i go about prepairing the semi-clear plastic surface?
would acrylics be ok?
and would i need it clearing?

I beleive I would wipe it down with alcohol , Then do it with One Shot enamal, That way You wouldn,t have to clear. Not sure if its available over there though. Cowboy

Yes Sir, thats the stuff & if Ya didn,t like it You can wipe it of with enamel reducer without hurtin Yer Screen. Cowboy
hi seadog, you could use F&w acrilic paint and clear over the top. i've done it a couple of time and it works ok. just key the surface with some fine scotchbrite.

The screen on this bike I did with Auto Air. Just sanded with 600 wet and painted, then cleared as usual. http://www.candcart.ca/Assets/bikes/cbr900/cbr900.htm

You may loose transparency once scuffed, but it'll come back once you clear it...right Clinton?
