I like this forum and would like to see it grow. At the moment I am noticing a slow down in posts, Why is this?
One of the reasons I think is People dont seem to be posting pics for critique, critique is good its how you learn. If you think you work is not good enough to show, you are wrong, every piece you do is a learning process that others will see and learn from. If you get bad critique, dont be upset just remember you posted it to learn how you can improve.
By posting pics you will encourage others to post.
Remember a forum is where you can get advice from your peers its FREE.
USE IT.

On Critique, Keep it positive.

Oh and if yu can, take at least 3 pics spaced out from begining to end of your painting, every one likes to see how it was done

OK guys if I,m wrong blast away, I can take it *gulp*.

i know i'm only new to the forum, but i do think there are far to many sections for the amount of active users. i think there'll be a lot of sections that some people never visit, and if some things were moved to more general sections, people's posts would get more views and hopefully more replies.

but i would like to see more pics of how people's work progresses. i'll be posting up all my stuff :)

Seadog you dont have to go through the sections.
Top of the page is "new posts" just press that and all the new posts since last visit will come up.

Im guilty of not posting much, but Ive tried to post in different categories and Ive been consistent with the Sunday art show for the weeks Ive been here. But I think there's enough work and information for all the different areas of the forum and Ive been amazed at how much information is acutally there...I was just limiting myself (like most new guys) to the General Ab section but there's awesome stuff in the custom paint, business info, illustration, flames, etc. This site is still very young but I feel that 6 months to a year from now, they may have to add new sections onto the forum as the site grows and the custom paint industry in general.

Aloha Michael, I post as often as possible between jobs, I love this 4um!!! I truly enjoy being here I jus get bogged down w/orders... We have some very talented/ knowledgeable artist here that if I see a question being answered by one of them I generally will leave it at that, sometimes I see redundant answers to 1 question, however If I can add to that I will but most of the time they're thoroughly answered... -HotAir-

I guese whats frustrating me is there is a wealth of talented and experienced people on here who are willing to help.
Its seems like we have a LOT of newbies that have signed up to this forum, because (I think) this forum is not as intimidating as some other forums.

Jus hoping to get them posting and get them interacting more.

I know everyone is busy, I,m hardly getting any time myself for painting, so I was not Knocking people for not posting.
Oh sod it I,m not good with words LOL I hope you all get my meaning.
I will shut up now.
I,m gonna paint I', better at that.

Michael.
