Here a project on working for one of my airbrush classes. I try to do the same subject as my students but when I get into some color mixing issues and sequencing of work, I have to be ahead on my painting so not to take too much time from the course, especially when working with complex subjects and when I have never done it. What I do is take some notes as I go along in order to be ready for when I'm with the student.
Anyway, here are a few pics. I'm working on a bristol 300 board with Createx paints and I'm using Iwata Eclipse CS airbrushes. I've got some airbrushes for detailing but I'm working this entire piece with the same airbrush as what my student owns.

Thanks Clinton. Could be more busy with classes but in a way, this gives me time to try out some new stuff....Like mastering the AA paint on my first helmet project! I have to learn how to manage my Web site as well so I have to learn Dreamweaver program.
This painting is something I'm working with a 13 year old girl. I will post what she has done so far. This is more complicated and this is why I have to be a step ahead since even myself I have to work out proper sequence of work. Plus this gives me a chance to decide which projects I will want keep as exercises for my classes.
Glad to see your classes keeping you busy!

Thank you all! Yep this is way different from portrait painting for sure. In a way, its kind of back to the beginning since these are the type of projects that I learned many tricks. I just hate the masking stuff that I'm sure this is what propelled me into portrait painting because of the free hand work. One thing I really love is the color matching and detail work. Anything to do with photorealistic painting I find alot of fun to try.
