Aw... reminds me of the time I accidentally got some thinner sprayed in my eye!! Had to lay on a hospital trolley for an hour whilst a nurse poured a constant stream of saline solution into it :(
Excellent picture by the way. How big is it?
All the best, Grant

If the object of art is to evoke a ,, "Feeling",,,
this could very well be one of the most,,,
Evokiest pieces of work I've seen !!!
For a competition,, this definitly will grab
the judges "eye" !!!

Thanks for the comments guys, it's just something to see where I stand against the pros. I've only been doing this a short time so it'll only push me to get better eh.;)
It definately has a style to it but not the realistice one I wanted. It's on a sign blank image is 16" X 22", I should have worked on the smaller 12" X 18" one (would have been easier and quicker) but didn't have one here.

Wow didn't think anyone would like this that much, yes I used a ref pic. I thought I had put this in already usually I do this is not out of my head, not that twisted. I was looking for this type of image through all my Horror mags and stills form movies, a buddy that does Photo Shop was over and said he had just the ticket. He had an image from a Photo Shop tutorial that he printed off for me, that's what I refrenced off of. Sorry for not putting that up sooner, thought I had. It's not exact, I added to it and put my style into it but yes still used ref for it as I'm still not "that" good.
I'm thinkin we all use refferences of some sort,,,
even Mona had to sit still for at least 30 minutes !!!
(probably accounts for that silly grin ):partyalone:
For a competition,,, you chose a very good subject
and rendered it so well,, that the observer instantly
"Feels" the work and has a reaction based on it !!!
Good Luck in the comp !!!
