I have been reading through the HoK tech manual and to my surprise it mentions using urethane clear over SG100. I see SG100 mentioned everywhere, while I do not see urethane clears mentioned as much. Do you really have to use a u. clear?
I use Virtus 267 High-Solids Acrylic two-part clear... does this mean I would get wrinkling?

using different materials you always run the risk of things going wrong, delamination, wrinkling shrinkage...
biggest concern i'd have would be delamination of the clear coat in the future.
sg100 is pretty much a urethane base coat paint without pigments. works good for protecting artwork or a inter coat clear over metallic s and pearls so you have a coat to sand and scuff before artwork or other bases or kandies.

there is no UV protection with the SG100, just protects your artwork before clear like mentioned above. MP

I understand that SG100 is not a topcoat clear. I use it with KK's and to protect work when masking. I just wanted to know if anyone had used acrylic lacquer 2K clear on top of work that contained SG100. I guess not.
They mention using SC01 instead of SG100 when top coating with acrylic lacquer. I had not heard of SC01 before flipping through the tech manual, anyone used it? It is as easy to work with as SG100?
