Old man winter is probably not done with us completely, but for yesterday, today and the next few days, 80 degrees, light breeze and bright blue skies. Had to roll the lime trees out into the sun from under the frost cover. Jeez its hard to be in the office right now. I can hear ol Lucille (my Harley) crying & beggin' to get out from under her cover..... maybe after work.

where it was frigid here a couple of weeks ago....it's 40-45 now. I sincerely hope winter is over....(false hope?) I need to get out into the garden and do the fall cleanup I never had time to do.

Not that it would say much about our weather, I took the last three tomatoes off a plant under a window awning in the back yard last week. Had to take the plant out to finish trimming back the roses.

Okay southerners rub it in We can't get out in the garden for another month or two can't plant till May so think again how your crying about having to be inside.. plus talk about riding my riding doesn't start again till the sand and salt is off the road about april 20th or so..

My parents just called me from Texas they said they are swetting the bippies off 80's there leaving to head to new mexico then to Alaska to there summer home.. I hope I can do what they are doing soon

Sharon, you hit the nail on the head, I won't be rejoicing come July & August here. Like the old joke said, there was a man once who owned Hell and Texas; he lived in hell and rented out Texas........

I need a northern summer home, that's the goal. Split in June, return in November, ah, wouldn't that be great?
