View Full Version : A little Fix er' upper...
My girlfriend's dad gave me call last week and asked if I could do anything with this old display shelf he had laying around...looking at it I'm guessing since the mid 70's.....Anyway, he wanted to display some of his Nascar models on it. ( Huge fan ). As soon as I saw it I remembered the How -to that AirDave posted a while back of his Flames and checkered flag panels, and knew it would look pretty good with the theme he wanted, so I gave it a shot! In the after photo the glass is not installed yet...I'm gonna etch the glass with some Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. stuff. Hope he likes it. Thanks for the know how, Dave!
Thanks for looking and any suggestions are appreciated

that came out cool man, although i like the old retro "shag" look too, but that wouldn't work with nascar
good job
Thanks alot Jason, that means alot coming from you, man. I really admire the work you do. I thought about trying to pinstripe the flames( which I have never attempted), but better judgement told me to walk away! Think i'll practice that skill at a later time!
Thanks
