Re - using stencils

Another newbie question.....

Using the self adhesive vinyl stencils - once the adhesive looses it's stickyness, what can you use to re-apply the stencils to the skin?
I have seen a couple of people using hair spray, would this do?

you can use stencil tac from Temptu : This high-tech invisible spray adhesive was developed to make Temptu's re-usable stencils easy to apply. Stencil Tac sticks to the stencil, not to the skin and cleans off quickly and easily.

Forget the icky sticky stuff and use regular stencils. Its cheaper,faster and way more sanitary.

Are there sanitary issues with those sprays? And without sticking the stencil, I should get good at holding it still, shouldn't I? Thanks...
