Yes, I've seen something like that in Manga how-to books. The Japanese artist are really into using markers. Thanks for sharing the link.

I don't know how many of you were around in the days when Technical Illustration was done by hand - with a rapidographs, not a computer...but this is nothing new. It's just a new face on an older thing. In the days of Keylining and Letraset, Letraset had a whole system like this (Letraset made markers, Rub on Typeface, etc)...back then it was a can of propellant....
Interesting for those who want to expand the use of an expensive marker set (have you looked at the prices of Copic markers? Good lord)

And Chartpak tape!
My first experience with pin lines... if I had only known!!!
Back on topic, I wonder what the spray thing does to the life of the marker?

Lady, I still have some old Chartpak... doubt it'll stick to anything but itself. I got out of illustrating when I realised it didn't pay diddly.
Saw those kids marker/airbrush gizmo. I think it was that ink that only shows up on special paper, wasn't it? Else we'd hear "hey Mom! Come see the cool graffitti I put in my room!!".
And Tina, we may be older than the average here on the Board...(what is the average age, hmm? Denise?) but we still kick booty...and with panache! When you comin up here to the D girl? I'm feelin thirsty....and in need of a hug, let's go to a Gay bar, lol.

I still have some chartpak and letraset supplies and use it for masking sometimes. Along with an old bruning electric eraser ... thing has to weigh about 5 pounds!
