I am curious if the .20 nozzle cap and needle can be swapped into the HP-CH. If so that would be a great help with ease of control with fine lines and fill areas. The parts guide leads me to think so. Does this require something other than the small needle?

Also for the HP-CH is there any particular spare parts or accessories I should pick up right away. Or in another phrasing, parts I am likely to booger up from inexperience; a couple extra needles I understand, anything else, Seals?

Is there any disadvantage to using a 20' hose? And are the quick disconnect kits for the Iwata sold at Dixie good quality?

Crown Cap worth the extra $15?

I plan to buy the Iwata cleaning station.
What is the "indisputable" & "common inexpensive" brush cleaning solutions for these media?

Acrylics Com-Art -
Acrylic Auto-Air -
Diet Pepsi -

I do appreciate the time it takes to answer these questions.

DON'T INTERCHANGE IWATA PARTS! You will damage the threading, nozzle, needles, and ect. Just buy another one, that way you will have a back up, and you won't be canabalizing your gun down the road.

The only spare part I would consider is a needle, remember, spin the needle when placing it in your gun, so as not to hook it.

A 20' hose is an advatage if you want to warm the air on your tank of the compressor, or cool the air from an oiless compressor.

Crown Cap worth the extra $15? DEFINITLY, less dry tip!

I use 1/2 409 + 1/2 H20 to clean since there is no amonia to rot your gun. If the nozzle is extra nasty, I have been known to use acetone once in a blue moon.

Don't forget the moisture trap and regulator for your compressor!

Good golly almighty, I see you feel strongly about this. I see from your profile you have a few Iwatas.

Thank you AirArts for giving me your take on all the points. Much appreciated!!

10 bucks plus shipping extra from CoastAirbrush for the hose. This way I can doodle relaxing on my couch. And I see perhaps alter the heat of the air, thanks. The crown seems like a good idea to me too so far, probably snag one with my order in the morning.
