My son did this for an art project. He's gotten several ribbons so far. I'm takin it to the state fair this year to see what he gets there. It's done with scratch board, spray foam and a little airbrushing on the foam.

Thanks Norm, his art teacher baked him a pan of brownies for goin above and beyond. I think the actual project was the flames in 3 different colors with the construction paper, the part you really don't notice.

wow..great job.....very creative peice.....and actaully....I did notice the flames...looked at them closely...was wonderin how he did them...good cuttin job....cutting construction paper with little tight curves is tough...as most of us know.....it's all in the details

GREAT JOB!!!!

Yeah Brian, he got an A. I never got an A in art, but I made the teacher cry 5 times my last year. I've never been right in the head.

You are a very sick man! HAHAHAHA and I LOVE IT :pepper:

As for your son, that in itself is your masterpiece! He looks like a strong young man, with unbelievable talent! There is so much texture in that 3-D piece. The color is very cool too! You better get him an airbrush soon, if he doesn't already have one. He is also lucky that he has a great air brush instructor as well!

I got him an airbrush when he was 7, he's tried it once. That's gonna change soon.

Really great!! I like his attention to detail! It's a true tribute work of art... apple never too far from the tree!!! Ahhh... creativity a blessing...and a curse to be "right-brained" in a left-brained world. Hope he can always use this in his life! You can tell you are proud of him! : )
