My pal that owns the Mustang, dropped this off when he picked the car up..97 Z71..Was a nice metallic blue, but suffered from being used..Paint was falling off and rusting in random spots everywhere...he beats this thing silly in the woods, so no reason to get spiffy with it..Didn't want any dents fixed or anything...Just didn't want it to rust away.

Grinded the rust the best I could, slow it down for a few years at best..lol..Sanded the whole thing with 80 grit, primed the bad spots and shot it all with bedliner...Used a U-pol Raptor bedliner kit..Tiz a catalyzed system, worked pretty slick...Best part is it says for future touch ups, just degrease and shoot.

What a great repaint concept for a woodsmobile Dell.....I reckon it has a certain feel to it when ya run a palm over it....I also reckon the bedliner "covering" material hid a buncha bumps.....Great Stuff for the inside of aluminum boats also....

I was paranoid how it was going to spray..It came with a cheap gun...Ended up shooting like a high powered spray can..haha

Think I might paint the Jeep the same way:thumbsup:

Actually looks pretty good. You should get the different colors and do some flames or something. Something tells me that rust ain't gonna come back any time soon.

Never heard of Linex Flat Screwd..Hell nothing wrong with a white truck either..lol...Just wanted something durable and easy to touch up in the future...Color isn't so much a biggie.

Yeah CB the gun was pretty cheap..Felt like spraying out of a small metal pipe..lol....I was going to clean the gun and keep it for other occasions...But it comes with the damn kit anyway...So if I ever wanted to do it again, I'll end up with a pile of cheap guns..haha

This stuff is tintable with paint, probably could make some crazy designs...Might be a bit to ghetto redneck though..haha

Linex is a commercial spray liner real popular here in Ca. Looks great when new but in a short time oxidizes but on the flip side its tough as nails ,takes a real beating.
