Been busy with a couple of projects and a hockey tournament the last few weeks, but have managed to get some time into the painting.

Christer, I mean Chris, good to see it further along, thanks for posting! Ain't it funny, the incredible detail and structure you have captured, and the rubber pegs are dirty, lol. Probably adds to the realism, though. You have great talent, thanks again, this is a pure pleasure to view.

I would like to invite you back on Sunday to repost in the Sunday Art & Kustom Show thread........ thanks, hope BC is nice, been so long.....

I know I gave you fits on the rubber tubing coming out from behind the air cleaner, I'll leave it be, lol. But I have a new question. The rear brake pedal and footpeg are coming out from under the engine? I am curious about that. I am a short ass, and I have an extended brake pedal, is about two feet forward of where this one is? Never seen the rear brake pedal coming out from under the engine, is that actually how it is?

blinddog, that's where the pedals are, just checked my reference photo, as to the rubber hose if you look you will see it attached to a fitting behind the air cleaner, which is attached to a chrome line that disappears under the tank.
(maybe fuel, I'm heading to the coast in a few weeks and I'll investigate, more into hot rod than bikes)
B.C. is terrific just had a bit of snow today.

Whit, thank you for your comments always appreciated.

Excellent job Chris. You really brought the chrome alive.

Chris, my curiosities are stemming from the photorealism done so well, I have found myself trying to identify the actual engine and date, apologies if you thought I was dissing your work, in fact, its incredible.

Wondering if you would grace our presence in the Sunday Art & Kustom show? It would fit really well, thanks again.

And Ron, you might be right on the sporty, but not nearly that old....

blinddog, no problems with your interest, talked to my brother inlaw last nite according to him it's a breather hose. I believe the bike was only 2 or 3 year old, he just replaced it with 2007.
