Sorry to post this in here, but can't find anywhere more relevant!

Is anyone else having real trouble viewing attachments to posts? I can't seem to see almost any of the pics!

Hello Clive....due to the forum rescue mission some the forum functionality and attachments are not working correctly....

most Attachments from 5-27-09 to present are not working possibly due to upload errors.....They are a scattered few here and there that did get restored...
Perhaps the missing attachments can be restored, I'm sure Ron will work on that as he has time to finish troubleshooting the reasons and the attachment database.....

Most all attachments PAST of attachment ID #26900 and posted before 5-27-09 are working fine...

Current posting of attachments is working fine so you folks may add any new ones that you like.....

Thank you to all members for your patience and especially for your dedication to this fabulous member's forum....

Well shit... nobody told me ;) Thought I had all that fixed. Guess I'll have to go back and look at it again.

Check those attachments now and let me know if anything's still broken. I still see some signature links broken, and I'll get on them when I can. This move has been a mess.

Attachments are now displaying quite nice.....you da man Ron !!!

with the vB 3.8 upgrade, there is now a "lightbox" feature to view a popup semi-slide show on posts that have multiple pictures....

all such is most excellent....

One thing I want to add to this thread as a side topic but relevent.....

New Members that have registered but Not returned their validation email that was sent to their email addy after they first registered will NOT be able to view all attachments....

If you are a new registrant and have this problem, you should find a check box function in your login screen to "resend Validation email".....follow that proceedure and if you still have trouble contact an administrator for further help....
