Airbrush Glitter

Im doin airbrush tattoos, hair, and faces. And im wondering how to apply the glitter itself after im done with the tattoo.

glitter paint or glitter powder?? I've seen some use disposable plastic spoons and kind of brush the power on the wet paint. the Paint on I've see them use a cheap badger..

Hi louisianaboy318 :) just came across your question

I use shimmer eyeshadow powder over the top of the wet black ink (stencil still on) when i do my tattoos, here in Oz u can get them in little roll on tubes and refill them with loose powder...the kids love it! and it looks great, escpecially on the larger tattoos. Hope this helps :)

Glitter does not stick very well to tattoos but it can ands it is a nice effect. Shimmer powders work well but it is easy to get too much to stick. It's of course a learning process. As for application here are many ways just find what works for you.

Most folks use a small pot of glitter and use a finger or an eyeshadow fluff brush to apply glitter. I find that fine cut glitter works better to stay on tats than the avg cut size of cosmetic glitter. In the summer months we use cosmetic glitter spray.
