Avatar problem...

I'm trying to upload a new avatar but it keeps coming back with "unable to save avatar". The image is 80x80 pixels and 6.95KB file size so I think it meets the requirements... I did delete the old one thinking I may need to clear the space first but that didn't help either. Any thoughts?

Dutch have You got the use custom avitar checked & then browsing from your puter, Or are you trying to use a photo program ? Everything seems to be working for Me. Maybe one of the other guys can be more help . CB

I take that back, It just did the same thing to Me. We,ll have Ron or Jimmy look into it.

Oh I'm not worried about it whatsoever. I totally understand the challenges this site faced and I'm impressed with how well it has been running given the circumstances. I'll try uploading an avatar later again until it works.

I'll look into it right now. Jimmy and I have been tweaking so many settings on the board one of us probably just poked a wrong button somewhere.

Okay... it's fixed. Was a permissions error on the avatar directory at the server level. Change away.

I had looked at all the avatar settings within vB earlier and those all looked correct...I had seen the avatar files directory and wondered if it was other than board settings....
