and started some of the plexi panels I got from a friend monday. Just picked up some black for the back. But they will still have a lil bit of grey tint, it's 1/4" thick stuff!

Here's a few pieces;some recent and some not-so-recent:

First is an old carpenter's tool kit I picked up last week. The lettering was done and aged artificially.Acme Sign is my fictitious sign shop that I use when I don't want people to know I paint signs.I shy away from commercial work and concentrate mainly on doing vintage stuff.

Second is an illuminated hood ornament I made for my 1955 Pontiac Safari out of 1/2" optical grade Lexan(think ice hockey rink window).Carved using a bench mounted disc sander and finished with various grades of sandpaper and polished with Mother's Mag Wheel Polish.

Next is a work in progress trophy made from the same material.

Next is one of two doors for a 1949 Ford F-1 pickup that were lettered and artificially aged.I do a lot of these.

Last is a race car I did a couple years ago.The body is made of carbon fibre and was to be raced at Bonneville.Unfortunately the block was found to be defective when fired up and it never made it.

Sorry just a little reaper!

Airbrushed the hood for Halloween drive decoration, then a shop wanted it on a Leather jacket!
