I bought some Original Matt finish Frisket Film,It says low tack, but it seems like it is too low tack, it seems to lift every time i spray on it, Is there astronger adhesive film, What brands? I shop on line, so what sites?

i just starting using liquid frisket, and i got the store brand that says not durable for soft paper, and its by UTRECHT. Im a newbie w the stuff, but it held for me, and didnt lift and did not leave any yellowing marks. It was real basic, and the price of a bottle was 8 bucks. it was my first time using the stuff, i will use it again, maybe this can help ya out?

I use TransferRite tape. It's great, and I use it all the time! It doesn't get tacky if you leave it on a long time. Also doesn't pull up your paint. I highly recommend it!

o man, i needed to ask you something, this liquid frisket i talked about above, im starting my first bike, bicycle and was wondering how to apply it on the image that i want when the frisket like an opague white, and i cant seem to see through it, once applied, i dont know if this makes sense? How do you see your design under it?

What paint are you using Kevin? If it's Auto Air then Frisk won't stick to it, nothing does.

Not using auto air on this these jobs, I use FW Arylic Ink, I paint on Canvas.

Sounds to me like you are using the ordinary "craft" liquid frisk, Its not design to see through.
You need to get something different I know someone will come up with a product for you.

That sounds like a problem, I Thought you could get Metalflakes companys spray mask, that is transparant, you paint it on about four coats, It goes on milky white, but drys transparant, Now i never used this stuff, I just read about it. But it should work on your Bicycle.

Any type of masking film will have a hard time staying on canvas.

Hold up.
First of all, Kev...Liquid frisket is not for you, at least not OVER acrylic. You will find as I did that it will lift the underlying paint...and quite possibly a new post...disaster 2.
Frisket, on canvas...frankly sucks. The only good result I've had with it is on illustration board.
What I do use is R-tape, or better known as transfer tape...some painters have even marketed a special version of this called "sticky mickey". It's not see through, therefore, you'll have to change your tactic with methodology.

In addition, I use green painters tape (3M)... and just about anything that will stick. I use a lot of acetate... I like it as I can still see through it, and it cuts easily. A few registration marks and you're in.
