Com-Art Metallics

Is a .5 airbrush the bare minimum for these?
And do any of you have special advice for these four paints?

I tried shooting Gold through the HP-CH last night. I believe it was shaken well. Even after a night in 50/50 fantastic and water I had to tear it down, clean it and re-lube it this morning. Looks like I may be adding Whit's Paasche VL sooner than I thought.

ComArt and the fantasticwater mix are not meant for eachother...you could be causing clumping with the very mix.
The fantastic mix was developed for Auto Air use. Not ComArt.

ComArt is pretty fine pigmenting....do try and use it straight with a little Airbrush medium and water for thinning, if nec. And up your airpressure.

I did indeed already bend the needle tip once. But after removing it, I pressed the end between two precision chrome plated sculpting tools and twirled the needle (lubed) slowly while drawing it between them pressed on both sides. The needle isn't perfect but it took out almost all the bend and its spraying great again. Worse comes to worse I can get more needles locally with a long bus ride. Trying to keep what copper coin I have left. I am going to be SOOOO broke for the next 60 days. Oh well, food is over rated.
