1. You already have the kit - so just go forward. But use the stencils w/o peeling and sticking they'll last thru quite a few uses. Overall don't stick stencils onto folks learn to just hold in place.

2. If it is an alcohol based makeup - rendering it water or sweat proof and must be removed using alcohol - well, would you want to put rubbing alcohol all over your face?
Only use water based or hybrid removable with soap and water for face art.

3. Well yes get makeup made for faces if that's what you plan to do.
Reusable stencils, and the 50 other small things too much to list that you'll figure out as you go - you know more/better displays, extra supplies, ways to transport and store your kit, marketing, makeup......... maybe invest in some classes.

For faces I like all these products Trendy Tribals airbrush ready or Liquid Mehron which you them mix to proper ratio with Mehron Mixing Liquid. Both are perhaps the most affordable water based airbrush makeup/paints on the market. And allow fot you getting into the hairline without concern.

I don't tend to use hybrids for face art unless I am doing a special job, need/want special or more vibrant colors, or need super durability. Airbrush ready hybrids are more expensive. When I do I use Mehron Lux or Graftobian. Both can go into the hairline just take an extra washing.

I think if you are looking at painting children with face art you don't need a huge color selection, want it easy cleanup for parents and affordable for you and parents.

If you want to use stencils for face art I suggest - Trendy Tribals for great textures and Party Faces and Stencil Eyes for full face stencils (two very different but both great products).

There are other good makeups and stencils around and you find these as you go, and you'll add in stencils. I use and sell all these because they are affordable proven winners and easy to get here in the USA, because they are all made here.

My advice beyond that is get business cards with info on how long the body/face art with last, (for tattoos how to make it stay longer) and how to remove it. You will answer this a million times and folks will then be sure to be walking away with your name & number.

Good Luck.
Let me know if I can help you with product.

the younger adults are def the group ill be shooting for. you know 16 and younger. cause this event is out side and its gettn cold ( i do have a 10x10 tent) i think most of the tats will be face, neck and a arms. ill look into the products you suggested but mixing is somthing i dnt think im ready to do.

ive been looking at pics i come across while researching this to get a feel for how the tent should be set up. i think presentation is important to get them in. after that is quality that keeps them coming back.

my kit from tcp global should be in any day, im gonna set it up im my garage to see how it should look and get things i havnt thought of yet.

whats up guys. got a few questions..
1 how many time can you use a stencile before it has to be cleaned.
2 can u use diff colors before u clean it.
3 i have an older smart jet now but wanted to know if it's worth it to have one w a storage tank. is it worth the upgrade?

What! Your supposed to clean them? ..................

We wipe off the part that touch folks now and then esp on hot day or at events where is dusty...... but we clean the sprayed side only when they get really built up and/or when we have time. Some are super popular favorites that we just always seem to use and we have to clean those much more often. I carry 400+ designs to a standard gig - and about 100 to huge events where we will be slammed. A minimum booking for us is 3 hours - but we can do some up to about 5 hours. We do only some rare festivals because I don't pay vendor fees to work.

Colors just build up - all come off, when cleaned.

A storage tank is very important when you work long events and when you are really busy. I do have compressors I own a Hammerhead and a Power Jet Pro but we use CO2 for tattoos. It's just something I like and I am not dealing with the "where's the plug issue". My company does corporate gigs, we come in, set up do our stuff and go - clean and crisp. Too we like not having an event planner stick us in a crappy location just because that is where the plug is. Plus we work in a lot of parks for company picnics.

If you are doing an event where it is cold you have to factor that folks/kids will be dressed in long sleeves, even jackets. So you will have less skin showing - faces should be an option. It's cold no matter going on the skin!

As for mixing ya' maybe too soon to start. Happy to give you some insight when you want it on mixing.
Try Trendy Tribals it is a great product, with a great stencil line and the owner Stephanie will help you in any way she can. The colors are vibrant and Trend Tribals has some shimmery frost colors girls love. Friends who have some serious big venues like Daytona 500, and NFL, NHL, NBA sporting arenas use Trendy Tribal "paint".
