As I said, those sneakers seem to always do me good. I have plenty more, ill take flicks and post them..Honestly, about 6 months ago, i was in the dumps about not being able to get my t-shirt sales going that well, they would sell but NOT THAT GREAT, i could only stick to the cartoons, and everyone seemed to drift to the silk press t shirt tables instead of my table, so instead of dwelling on it, it made me look at what was the difference in my ts and theirs. The difference was they were able to sell their ts for a low low price, and i couldnt go that low on the price because it would take me longer to make just one. So i finally found something different and something i could sell for a reasonable price for the amount of time i spent making them. And no one else had them, NOW, THESE "SILK PRINT" GUYS CUSTOMERS ALWAYS COME TO MY TABLE..hee-hee, the hardest part is keeping my designs fresh so people come back! I appreciate the comments, THANK YOU,:smiley_bliss: coming from you guys, it makes me say, im doing something right!
Those are hot, great work!

KEV, im sorry i did not get back to you sooner on a response, i wasnt really sure what you meant by waterproof? I think your asking "do they wipe off, or wash off"? They are just regular nike sneakers, i also do converse as well, but nikes are my favorites, and paint is whatever i have lying on my shelf at the time, createx, golden, aqua flow, and then to seal it from wiping off, i spray KRYLON CLEAR to seal the design..**PLEASE NOTE, TOO much krylon clear will make the sneaker look plastic..I ve seen other sneakers airbrushed and they always seem to look so plastic looking, like super shinny. Do it lightly in coats, maybe 3. UMM < if i didnt explain it well, or i left something out, please let me know..anytime nat, you know how to prep them?

you will have problems with paint spidering because, first I am "not sure if this is the reason", I think it needs like a tooth surface for the paint to stick too, when i dont take rubbing alcohol it just spiders every where, so rub them down first. THis is how i do it, again dont know if its correct, but it seems to work for me, i take warm water and just rinse the outside of the sneaker, only using my hand to wipe dirt or dust, than i pat them w a towel, than i take rubbing alcohol, rub down the whole canvas part of the shoe, use a little pressure, i guess you would say it dries them out. If you dont do this it will be too slick for the paint to catch..I hope i explained it right, dont forget, to do the clear from a distance, and only 3 LIGHT COATS, going in different directs. These are my personal Washing instructions that i give with the shoes: wash by hand, dont use any abrasives, or scrubs on the outside of shoe, only gently use water and your hand in the sink. You might want to try and start with black shoes, because the black can easily be fixed for mistakes, the white is a little harder, its seems like when you go back in for minor details of fixing, the white paint doesnt match the shoe properly, doesnt stick out much but you can notice it up close. Let me know if i can be any further assistance, dont worry not a problem, i love doing these little guys:clap:

Thanks Nat, That is a great help, I was Thinking you should do some for St Patricks Day, Everyone will wear anything with green Shamrocks, or Guinness, or Harps, or Leapracauns. You could make a fortune in NY, I know they celebrate big style there, What do you think?
