Got the 1st sign underway, will end up having a white rectange at the bootom so they can write on/wipe off who's playing so need some advice on ideas for that so it dosnt look like a big white block! Second is the 'Music' lettering, now I'm hppy with the 'M' but unsure of the rest.... All oppinions and advise much apreciated my fellow brushers!!

The 'Music' part is just cut card at the mo, will mask, paint white then candy blue over the top to give that electric look, and hopefully a few candy blue sparks here and there lol

Thanks all, after some ideas for the white bar at the bottom so it dosnt look like a plain white rectangle! I'll airbrush rivits in each corner of it but that about all I can come up with at the mo, havnt been in this game long enough yet but I love every minute of it!

Just my twopence:
I would try either an outline of MUSIC to bring it out a bit more or make a music scale with just five striped lines in a wave pattern behind it across the face.
Or for the space below use an unfurling paper roll(banner type) with the letters:APPEARING TONIGHT above it.

All they need is sufficient contrast for the White-Board Markers to be as visible / readable as the rest of the sign... How about a pale metal / pale grey for the rectangular area? Fits in w/ your rivet plan.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll sit on it for a few days and see what springs to mind!!

Also, I've never put candys through my airbrush before, does it take ages to get it up to the colour you want?? I've got some real old candy paint that was given to me, I cant remember the name off hand so will post a pic on monday, its a make I've never heard of but I'm sure someone on here will have, it looks real old but works well.
