Vatos as I'm sure you are aware that most automotive paint colors are created using more than one color. So fine tuning flesh colors may be some what difficult. If you haven't read these threads do and get some insight on what makes up flesh tones.

The colors you have are all that is needed. Use note cards or small pieces of paper and use a hole punch to put holes in the middle. Now put the hole over the color you want to match and start mixing and do small test patches near the hole. You will know when you have a match for that shade.

The note card with a hole in it is a great technique Red-Mud.

It works as long as your substrate is of the same or similar base color.

vatos..
most of your lighter skin tones are based with yellow, white, and the smallest amount of red..
if you want a darker tone. I still have a little trouble but take yellow and a touch of red and just a hint of blue(very little blue..)) play around with those and see what you come up with..

yes..ive been playin around with those..
yellow qith a bit of red= orange.+2 drops of blue=brown.
add some white to light it up...or black to tone it dark but will mock it up a bit..but still, im quite lost, bout the base color for skin tones..and the dark color for details..
im not gonna try it to a reallife skintone...just a simple nice skintone like Daniel Power did for most of his artwork..
thanks..

Hello All
I'm lucky enough to live near an "Auto Paint" supplies shop, I go there for my regular paint supplies that I use.
I asked him if he could mix any colour to order because I wanted an "olive drab" for a project, he said he could and brought out a briefcase with all manner of swatches in with code numbers etc, I mean 40 shades of Violet or Blue or Red or Green, Gold, Silver you name it, so I picked out my "Olive Drab" then he said "Gloss, Satin or Matt?" so while he was mixing the paint up I looked at the "Orange" swatches, I mean 40 shades of orange and yes there was 4 or 5 shades of just the peachiest skin/flesh tones you could think of just ripe for the picking.
If you know of a local auto paint shop local to you, give it a try you never know.
Good luck
All the Best.
Ade
