I had this boat doing better than 45 MPH when it blew over and crashed last summer. I finally got around to doing the repairs on her.

Nice, I love those old skool boats. What is the set up?

One of the main reasons I got into ABing is so I can put a nice spray job on my boat.

Thanks, the setup is as follows ...

Ammo 36-50-2300, Hacker Master 70, 4S1P, Prather 215. The Hull is a Campbell vintage hydro 24'' x 12" with a Solinger hydro system on a.150 flex. Here is a video of one of it's first runs.

That's a good little boat. Looks quite stable on the water considering the speed and size of the boat. Good stuff.

My boat is assembled, but not painted. I am going to see how it performs on the water first and if all is well, will start the painting.

Thanks for posting.

Is your boat an FE and what do you have in yours? Are you on OSE or RRR?

I have got a 32" deep Vhull from Japan.

Hobbywing 120a ESC
FSD 3674 750W
5000MaH 30c 3s1p

I think the prop is an X440

With the Lipo above, I reckon its good for 45 - 50 mph

Once I have got the hang of my AB, It will get a good old fashioned spraying... If this project goes well and I can flog it on ebay, then the next project is a 40" cat..

P.s the pictures are not my boat, but it looks the same and is in the same state. Mine doesn't have the aerial and has carbon fibre turn fins.

Nice boat! I have one similar to it but with 4S2P. I have a 32" cat that is ready for paint and will have a dual set up.

How fast is the deepv boat? The Cat is nice too. What are you plans for that?

The mono does a bit over 50 mph but I am still making adjustments on it.
The cat will have twin Aveox 36-30's and 120A esc's. I am still deciding on what I want for the the rest of the hardware. I am thinking twin H&M stingers with a center rudder.
