So after riding was all done, I decided to tear my bike down to the frame so I could repaint it. Had it sand blasted and is now in a pre-build roller. Anyway, the colors I want to go with are bada bling silver as my base color, candy blue over that and some graphics that are on the silver. I plan on doing some old school hot rod flames using the bada color for my pinstripes via tape. Inside the flames will be a charcoal-ish color marble. What I am wondering is what color should be used for a base sealer for this stuff. I have not painted with the silver yet. Has anyone used this stuff?
What kinda paints ya using?...I've never used a sealer on any paintjob so no clue on that..maybe the paint brand your using needs one, I dunno

I want to go with AA paints. Might go with something else, but I like the water base idea. So do the neighbors!

I haven't used that silver but you can always add a little black to your white sealer to get a light grey, although I'd go with white sealer to get a brighter base.

Thanks, Paul. I did a little looking online too and came up with very similar results. My conclusion is that then. Thanks!

yep treat it more like a small flake than an actual paint as it has no hiding power
