Here is another sample painting of a more detailed picture. This time I worked with black on white background because I want to finish with a Candy color. Used the usual paper masking technique, except this time I had a bit more to do...but it worked out OK.

Have about 4 hours of work to get to this point.

I am now ready to apply this to a helmet that I'm working on. Its a Dale Earnhardt Jr theme and I'm spending more time on the design than the actual painting!...LOL

You sure make it look easy. Again it's up to your great standards. If you added a moustauche it could almost be you.

I'm with the rest!..Think it looks great, Luc!!...Personally like it better without the Kandy wash.....but that's just my odd taste....Awesome piece of work no matter what you do with it...Gonna be sweet on the helmet!:partyalone:

Yup Im with Dell. Awsome work. But I think the Kandie dulls it down. Just my 2cents

The detail is amazing! I can see the stitch marks in the embroidery of his cap! I understand Kandies to be like a transparent, so I think that will give it some depth, so I like that concept and approach. Thanks for sharing :clapping2:

Thanks guys!

I agree with the candy color taking away from the detail. Will get it cleared soon to see what effect the candy has.

For my helmet, well I started it but I opted for no candy.

...I wanted the face to stant out as part of the red background.

Still not finished but I'm getting there.
