View Full Version : How many of you wear airbrushed shirts
I paint shirts at a few venues throughout the year, and most weekends at a local flea market. However, I don't wear airbrushed t-shirts at all. Airbrushed leather, occasionally. But shirts, no. So how about you guys?

Nope. Like you I shoot shirts every weekend. I used to wear my product but Im kinda sloppy with my paints. I dont have a full rack of guns, so when changin colors etc I end up with spots and stuff on my shirts, pants, shoes. So now I just wear a black T when paintin. :tee:
I have paint on nearly everything I own. It sucks! A friend of mine wears an apron when he airbrushes. I've thought about doing this since plan A has failed an innumerable amount of times, plan A being one wardrobe for work and another for the other part of my life.

Ive tried the apron route. I thought it would be easier, nice to have pockets right in front for keepn the cash handy. I did it for two weekends and gave it up. I found the strap around my neck to be really iritating. SO I just keep the two wardrobes. Im often seen wearin paint splattered clothes. I guess i gave up a couple of years ago. Unless Im out somewhere nice with my wife. :)
I guess I'm just not a white t-shirt kind of guy. My wife loves to sport airbrush shirts, though. Mostly one-offs, not part of my stock portfolio. when it comes to t-shirts, she always cuts cuts the collar off, and cuts and beads the sleeves to match the airbrushing. It's really cool.. She still has shirts from way back when. I don't let her wear those in public though. It might interfere with my street cred...lol. I did paint two really cool black shirts for myself last year, but I got paint all over them. You know what it is, spending an hour to paint a shirt and then wearing it to work to show off, and then the inevitable happens. Never again. Not until I discipline myself to stick to two wardrobes.

Yes I wear T's that I painted w/ different styles as a showcase for what I can do. Free advertising & I rarely get paint on them if I do it's usually a very small dot so I don't sweat it I'll load some water in a open gun & power wash it out.

Ass for me, I just made 2 full shirts and "PIMPED" them both!!! I use myself as a walking billboard. Time is money and I "HUSTLE" to get what I want and need. The brighter and eye catching the shirt, the more of a chance i'll have for someone to come up to me and ask "who made that?" The more, the better.

siberian, thats a good way of advertising, but i know i should, and everytime i make some cool sneakers or jacket, im like im wearing this, but it never happens..Im just not into the wearing that stuff, i mean a few pieces i rocked, like a crazy clown blazin two guns, i liked wearing it because it took up the whole back of jacket so i would purposely go into the bank with it on, just for kicks! Other than that, no i never wear airbrushed stuff, maybe ill sport some sneakers this year since they are my new sellers. I might this year because ive gotten 10 times better than last year with ab stuff, i just dont like that bright bubblie stuff on me?I would rock some skulls or flames on" fitted t" with a small skull in the corner? :speechless-smiley-0

I live in T shirts. I have a few that I painted for giggles out west and since the majority of the idiots that I dealt with weren't willing to pay more then 20$ for the ones that I did with elaborite portraits on them, my son has a nice collection of shirts.

I only wear the airbrushed T's that Denise has painted for me.
Is that ALL you wear? :wink2:
I have a suggestion, maybe we can exchange painted t-shits with other artists. By random choice for all who want to enter. I can participate after finals.

Remember what happened last time a thread got side-tracked with a quote like this, lol. Ok, my turn to high-jack a thread. I just went and out one of the T-shirts that Denise airbrushed for me (Skull with Cigar) and now I'm sitting here with nothing on but the shirt.
Go for it Denise! Trash this thread ,lol
Well, I hope it isn't where your nieghbors can see you, otherwise they may mistake you for trying to do something besides communicating in a forum.
Hey Denise,
Will he wear ANY t-shirt you paint him?!?!
