hey guys,
I am wondering if I can add urethane base coat to one shot striping enamel to make a bit darker color without wrecking the one shot??

What I have is one shot peacock blue, but it is pretty light, and I need a darker blue...so I thought if I can just take some dark blue automotive urethane, and add a few drops to my one shot, I would have the color I need...I just want to make sure this will work, or if I should not risk it...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

1-shot is single stage enamel,,, 'ol school enamel,,,
I'm thinkin they don't mix well at all,,,,,
if ya got some red in 1-shot,, add a tad in a small cup
of your blue,,, peacock if I'm thinkin right is close to process blue
and it may give you a richer blue,, (process blue would be better tho)
Good Luck on it !!!

Yeah, I wouldn't mix euros and enamel. You're asking for trouble. Whit's dead on with his advice, even though it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You can mix green and gold 1-Shot and end up with purple. Color wheels get thrown out the window when you're mixing 1-Shot. It's just from years of experimenting with the stuff that you know what you'll end up with when you start blending.

Thanks boys...
I definately don't want to mess it up,
so I will try to find some red and process blue and go from there...
Thanks!

Whit's the 1-Shot king. He can probably send you a Dixie cup of any color you need ;)
